In 1784,
Fredericton: Thomas Carleton, born in County Tyrone, Ireland, a Colonel of the British 29th Regiment in the American Revolutionary War and appointed New Brunswick's first Governor in 1784. Thomas was the younger brother of Sir Guy Carleton, Lord Dorchester.

March 9th/13 - 6:30 - Gala Dinner - Delta Brunswick

March 10th/13 - 1:00 PM - Celtic Cross Memorial Service - Three Sisters' Cross

March 17th/13 - 11:45 - Mass at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, followed by reception at the Bishop's Palace

March 17th/13 - 2:00 - 4:00 PM - Children's Festival - Market Square - Music by Comhaltas, face-painting, cake, Irish name translation, and much more.
