Fredericton: Thomas Carleton, born in County Tyrone, Ireland, a Colonel of the British 29th Regiment in the American Revolutionary War and appointed New Brunswick's first Governor in 1784. Thomas was the younger brother of Sir Guy Carleton, Lord Dorchester.

Events - Moncton Area

March 8, 2013 at noon will be the raising of the Irish flag at the Moncton City Hall.

March 8^th: 7:30pm will be the Celtic Revue Concert at the Riverview Arts Centre

Entertainers: Codiac RCMP Pipes and Drums, Harpist Dorothy Brzezicki, Nelson Doyle Dancers, Paul McCloskey and Bernie Houlahan and Eddy Poirier.

Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 10:00 to 12:00 is the Kiddies Day at the St. Bernards' Church Hall.

Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 11:00 to 1:00 is the Irish Breakfast at the Moncton Press Club and a kitchen party follows immediately with live entertainment.

Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00am is the Irish Mass at St. Bernard's Church
