Fredericton: Thomas Carleton, born in County Tyrone, Ireland, a Colonel of the British 29th Regiment in the American Revolutionary War and appointed New Brunswick's first Governor in 1784. Thomas was the younger brother of Sir Guy Carleton, Lord Dorchester.

William Andrews, born c1821 in Ireland, died 5 Feb 1899. He came to NB and settled in Saint John, married, and had children:

1) Lloyd Andrews born 23 Jul 1847, d. 10 Dec 1905, married 26 Jan 1875 Sarah Emma White born 15 Dec 1852, d. 8 Oct 1924
2) William J. Andrews b. c1848.
