BUCK:
Walter Mansfield Buck born Dec 1826 in Dublin, Ireland s/o Robert Andrew and Harriet Buck, d. 15 May 1881 at Fredericton, m. Charlotte Hepworth of Leeds, England. He was a railway civil engineer who came to NB in the mid 1850’s and first worked at St. Andrews until 1862, then in Chatham area from 1869 to 1875, then from 1876 to 1881 in Salisbury, NB. The couple had eight children. Noted was son William F. Buck. PANB:MC80/2184 W.D.
