Alexander Gale was born at Kinloch, County Leitrim, Ireland, (Should be Kinlough.)and died 7 Apr 1863. He came to NB in 1819 and settled at Youngs Cove, Waterborough Parish, Queens County. He married Jane Holmes. children: 1) Robert Gale m. Sarah E. Purdy 2) Thomas Gale m. Rachel Elkin 3) John Gale m. Hannah Wiggins 4) William Gale m. Adelaide Dykeman 5) George Gale married Kate Roberts 6) Margaret Gale m. Christopher Elliott 7) Mary Ann Gale m. William Kennedy 8) Alexander Gale - unmarried 9) Isaac Gale died unmarried. PANB:MC80/364 E. Stone Wiggins, History of Queens County 1876, page 29. John Gale was born 1803 at Kinloch, County Leitrim, Ireland , (Should be Kinlough.) and died 7 Apr 1863. He came to NB with his wife and one child in 1819. They settled at Youngs Cove, Waterborough Parish, Queens County.
