WATTERS:
Thomas Watters and wife Eleanor Toole came from Ireland to NB about 1816 and settled in Saint John. They had a large family. The only child mentioned was Charles Watters, born 26 Nov 1818 at Saint John, died 7 Aug 1891, married (1st) Mary Doherty of Saint John, b. 1823, d. 17 Jul 1859. They had four sons and two daughters. He married (2nd) 29 Mar 1861 Malvina Wallace Priestly, daughter of Major Priestly of 42nd Regt, Fredericton, NB. They had five sons and three daughters.
