Fredericton: Thomas Carleton, born in County Tyrone, Ireland, a Colonel of the British 29th Regiment in the American Revolutionary War and appointed New Brunswick's first Governor in 1784. Thomas was the younger brother of Sir Guy Carleton, Lord Dorchester.

Martin Wildie was born c1796 in NB and died 13 Nov 1861. He married Jane L. - , born c1808 in Ireland, died 1 Jul 1885. The family lived in Fredericton, York County.

The 1851 Fredericton census lists children:
1) Alexander Wildie
2) James Wildie
3) Samuel Wildie
4) Mary Wildie.
