THE TRIALS AT WOODSTOCK. – We learn from the Carleton Sentinel of Tuesday last, that the adjourned Court for the trial of the rioters on the 12th of July last, was opened on the 11th instant. Another attempt to delay the trails was made by the Counsel for the prisoners, but was over-ruled by His Honor Judge Parker, and the examination of witnesses commenced next day. The case for the Crown was closed on Monday evening. The Solicitor General and George Botsford, Esq. are engaged for the prosecution. J. A. Street, Esq. Q. C. and C. Watters and B. C. Friel, Esq. are engaged for the defence.
