Daniel Ryan, born c1740 in Ireland, died c1804. He came to NB after 1755. He married, after 1770, Ann Henry, born c1750, died after 12 Dec 1813. The family settled near Point de Bute, Westmorland County.

Michael Ryan, born in County Tipperary, Ireland, died age 82. He came to NB as a young man and eventually settled in Kings County. He married Julia O’Donnell, also a native of Tipperary, who died young after having four children.
Their third child was Michael Ryan Jr. b. 1845 in Kings County, m. 1873 Mary Rowan of Fredericton: settled in Fredericton, York County: had three sons and two daughters.
