Directions: From the west on the Trans Canada Highway 2, take exit 459 into Moncton on Elmwood Drive and go south into the city until you come to the end of Elmwood at Lewisville Road. Turn right and continue, across Highway 15 (Wheeler Blvd.) and up to the lights at Mountain Road. Turn left and the Museum will be on your right.

From the east from Highway 15 – take the Botsford St. exit just after the traffic circle and make a left-hand turn into downtown Moncton – at Mountain Road, take another left and the museum will be on your right.

Research materials available:
  • Large collection of historical photographs and archival documents pertaining to the history of the Greater Moncton region.
  • Printed census returns for Westmorland and Albert counties
  • Moncton City directories
  • Other related histories

The research library is available to the visiting public. Those who wish to consult the archives are required to make an appointment by contacting the museum staff at 856-4383 or through //www%2Einfo%This email address is being protected from spambots. The museum makes every effort to make materials accessible; however some materials may be unavailable for reasons of conservation, copyright restrictions, the protection and privacy or donor agreements. No archival documents, photographs, research files, reference books or negatives may be removed from the museum research library. Arrangements can be made for some materials to be copied and forwarded to the researcher.

There is free parking behind the museum. Access to the research and archives library is at the museum entrance on Mountain Road.

There are no user fees but the Museum does welcome donations. No food or drink is allowed in the building.
